Hooooooooly cow! A darn good burger! An eat in your place, or if the weather is nice outside. Perfect burger, a melody of flavors in concert. Crinkle fries are good with the Mix sauce. The root beer is unique and making it a float with some vanilla ice cream is a must.
We've often driven by this place but finally tried it. The burgers were delicious and the staff was great! For being on a busy intersection, it was easy to get in and out of and they had a nice outdoor seating spot tucked to the side and blocked off from the street. While we did not get any of their shakes floats or ice creams, we saw almost every person there getting them, so assumption says they are great too! Something to try next time!

It was good and a classic. Is it over priced? Yes and no. Most stands have hot dogs and fries for 5. Hamburger heaven? 5 plus tax each. Got a Chicago dog and since fries are extra I got breaded mushrooms. The dig was good. The breaded mushrooms wee hot and got 12 breaded shrooms in my order. Ranch dressing bag was .50 extra. No cup for ranch? Oh well. Had to eat in the parking lot. I didn’t want to chance getting a giant ranch packet everywhere. Was it good? Yes. Was it fresh? Yes! Is it a must stop for eating on the go? No. If I’m in the area I might stop again. 2:00pm on a weekday not busy. Love the old school look!
Me and my girlfriend always go for the coldbrew coffee float, one of the best around!! Also their burgers and ice cream are very yummy. If you're in the area give them a try.
Hamburger heaven is like a taste of nostalgia and I’m only 26. Their service is super fast and their burger is divine! The Larry definitely got messy but it was so tasty! Plus the fries were perfectly fried.
I've personally never been here but I gave my husband and I, along with the employees at this location, a good laugh after placing an order here from out of state. I did so accidentally after trying to order food at a spot called Hamburger HAVEN in North Carolina (Hamburger Heaven in IL was one of the first results that popped up on Google; I gave the fellow patrons and employees at Hamburger Haven a case of the giggles too). Whoops. LOL I tried calling this location afterward but couldn't reach someone on the phone to get a refund. Someone called me about a half an hour later confirming that they refunded my card. 5/5 stars for excellent customer service. My husband and I will be sure to check this place out if we're ever in the area. Thanks Hamburger Heaven!
Just got soft serve from this place — the girl at the window was super nice and polite, great service! The ice cream was ok with generous portions (I ordered a medium and ended up tossing half — it was huge!).
